NWE Courses offer a lot more than fun filled adventure activities, and life skills. Participating will also greatly enhance your personality.

In today’s life along with education and academics; personality development has become one of the most vital aspects in a student’s life. Personality development helps the students to get positive thought pattern, gain confidence, improve behavior, learn better communication and develop a healthy physique; leading them to eventually grow into confident, successful citizens.
Joining an NWE camp is one of the best ways to utilize the summer holidays to develop one of the most important aspects of our life; your personality. Let’s look into how joining an NWE course will enrich you;
1.Camp Reinforces Independence and Empowerment
No matter how independent the kids seem at home, the real test of that independence is brought out when you give them time away from you, on their own.
During the NWE course, even though our Instructors provide some support, the child is responsible to make their small decisions on their own without mom and dad. When to take a bath? How long to take to get ready? Brushing their teeth? Making their bed? They learn it all. This allows for a chance for children to truly understand the thought that goes into making a good decision, and will discover even more about themselves in the process. Not to mention, children can also lean on peers for support, if they do need additional help.

2. Allows for Confidence to be Reinforced by Success
With activity and growth comes success or failure. Whether it is Wilderness Cooking or Rappelling, each activity comes with its own set of mini milestones and tests. Some of the activities might be brand new to your child, while others could be extensions of what they already know.
Maybe they’ve never seen a tent before, or perhaps they’ve seen one but don’t know how to pitch one. By getting out in the wilderness and attempting these activities, they will experience an increase in self confidence as a result. From there, your student leaves the course with internal support strong enough to compel them to try out new activities and who knows how great at it they might end up being.
3. Helps with Mental Stimulation & Physical Activity
A long holiday without much brain activity usually results to lethargic conditions like summer learning loss. Kids usually also don’t get enough physical activity during this time.
The NWE course can get kids going, both mentally and physically. Being in the wilderness will allow kids to get off of couches and on the move, participating in all these different activities not only makes them physically active but also stimulates them mentally.

4. Instills Appreciation and Gratitude
And let’s not forget, time away from home helps kids appreciate home, their parents, their belongings, a meal cooked by mom or dad, and everything else that they may take for granted back home. Kids will come back valuing what they have more than they did before.
